About Michael Wilbon
When a sports topic is up for debate, Michael Wilbon is often on the right side of the conversation. As an analyst and co-host of the popular ESPN show Pardon the Interruption, he provides wise and entertaining analysis of the day’s top sports stories along with fellow host Tony Kornheiser.
Wilbon got his start at the Washington Post in 1980, where he covered a wide variety of sports topics at the collegiate and professional level before being earning a spot as a full-time columnist. He’s covered every Super Bowl and NCAA Final Four since 1987, every Final Four since 1982, and offered up original and unique content for Washington Post readers until 2010.
A one of a kind talent, Wilbon also contributes to ESPN’s The Sports Reporters and appeared as a host on ABC’s NBA Countdown. A graduate of Northwestern University, he has served as a trustee at his alma mater on numerous occasions, and was honored at the White House in 2013.
