Ted Robinson Biography

Ted Robinson is a sportscaster who currently is the play by play announcer for the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL. After graduating from Notre Dame in 1978, Robinson has announced various sports, including tennis, hockey, baseball, basketball, football, and the Olympics. He has won two Emmys for his work as a broadcaster. Robinson started his career by announcing Minor League Hockey games in Oklahoma, eventually moving up to the MLB and the Tennis Channel. During his time with the Tennis Channel and the MLB, Robinson moved to the NFL, where he became the San Francisco 49ers play by play radio announcer in 2009, and will continue to be inthat role until at least 2018
