About Tara Lipinski
Tara Lipinski is a former American figure skater from Pennsylvania. She currently holds therecord for being the youngest Olympic gold medalist in ladies figure skating history after herperformance in the 1998 Winter Olympics, winning the gold at just 15 years old. Along with herOlympic victory, Lipinski also holds the record for being the youngest World Champion, winningthe event when she was 14 years old. After 1998, Lipinski announced her decision to turnprofessional, skating for companies such as Champions on Ice and Stars on Ice. After manyyears of touring, Lipinski officially retired from skating due to many lingering injuries. Lipinskinow does television announcing, most recently for the Sochi Winter Olympics.
