About Tamecka Dixon
Tamecka Dixon is a former WNBA shooting guards, playing for the Los Angeles Sparks, theHouston Comets, and the Indiana Fever over her 12 year career. After being named Big 12player of the year at the University of Kansas in 1997, Dixon was drafted 14th overall by the LosAngeles Sparks in the first ever WNBA draft. Dixon is a three time WNBA All-Star, being namedto the team in 2001,2002, and 2003, along with winning two WNBA Championships in 2001 and2002. Along with her WNBAsuccess, Dixon was also a part of the USA women’s basketball teamfor the 2002 World Championship, helping the U.S. win all nine games. After a 12 year career,Dixon decided to retire prior to the start of the 2010 season, playing her last WNBA game withthe Indiana Fever.
