About Erin Thorn
Erin Thorn is a former WNBA player. Prior to her professional career, Thorn played basketball for Brigham Young University as a guard from 1999-2003. During her senior year at BYU, she was a participant in the WBCA All-Star Challenge and the NCAA Final Four. Thorn was honored as the 2003 Cougar Club Crowd Pleaser Award, MWC All-Tournament Team honor, and the MWC All-Conference First Team award recipient. She is now considered a BYU legend. In 2003, Thorn was drafted by the New York Liberty in the second round of the WNBA draft. In the off-season with the Liberty, Thorn began serving as an assistant coach for BYU. After playing with the New York Liberty from 2003-2008, Thorn was signed in 2009 by the Chicago Sky where she played for two years. Then in 2012, Thorn agreed to a contract with the Minnesota Lynx during the off-season and in 2013, she signed with the Indiana Fever before departing for France.
