About Brittney Griner
Brittney Griner is one of the greatest centers in women's basketball history. Griner spent her entire career with the Phoenix Mercury, becoming a 10-time WNBA All-Star before joining the Atlanta Dream in 2025.
Throughout her life,Griner was a basketball star due to her immense height, and she was ranked the #1 overall high schoolprospect in 2009. She decided to attend Baylor University on, quickly becoming adominant force for the Bears. In four years at Baylor, she became a three-time All-American and won the NCAA title in 2012.
Following her graduation from Baylor in 2013, Griner wasselected first overall in the WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury,where she has become a perennial All-Star and two-time scoring champion. In 2014, she also won a WNBA championship with the Mercury. She was selected to the league's 25th-anniversary team in 2021.
