Steve Sarkisian

When you hear the name Steve Sarkisian, most tend to admire him for all that he has contributed to the sport of football. A former quarterback for El Camino College, Brigham Young University (BYU), and the professional Canadian Football League for three seasons, Sarkisian left a mark on his playing years by being known as an incredible teammate and passer, receiving the Sammy Baugh Trophy in 1996 for being the nation’s top passer. Ensuing his playing years, Sarkisian gave back to the sport and college he loved by returning to El Camino College as the QB coach in 2000. Since, Sarkisian has also served as the QB coach for USC multiple times and the Oakland Raiders. In 2008, Sarkisian became the head coach for the University of Washington, in which he signed an extremely rewarding monetary contract that acted as an extra bonus to doing what he loved. For the 2014 season, Sarkisian returned back to USC, accepting the head coach position. He gained notoriety in subsequent years as the offensive coordinator at Alabama before taking the Texas job in 2021.
