About Steve Bunin
Steve Bunin is an American journalist born in Seattle, Washington. Having graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism, Bunin pursued his passions in college while working on the campus TV studio. Most recently, Bunin was an anchor for Comcast SportsNet Houston before they went bankrupt this past year. Previously, Bunin contributed his talents to ESPN for nine years. In fact, Bunin became the first ESPN anchor to win an award for character, the company’s prestigious “Game Ball” award. Throughout his time with ESPN, Bunin anchored numerous shows, on top of hosting Baseball Tonight, NFL Live, and Sports Reporters. Some of these shows included College Football Live, SportsCenter, and Outside The Lines. Some of the most notable highlights of Bunin’s career to date include being named the Best TV Sportscaster by the Arizona Associated Press in 1988 and similarly, the Best TV Sportscast again in 200 by the Michigan Associated Press.
