About Rick Reilly
Rick Reilly is an accomplished sports writer that got his start in the business in 1979. His first job came as a graduate assistant before he joined Sports Illustrated. He has become a well-known writer for his human interest pieces including his back page column in SI called Life of Reilly which was written from 1997 through 2007. In 2007 Rick decided to make a move in his career to ESPN. Rick continued writing his acclaimed piece Life of Reilly at ESPN in ESPN the Magazine as well as on ESPN.com. Since joining the network Rick has done work on SportsCenter as well as being the host of Homecoming which is an interview program on ESPN which is taped in the hometown of its featured guests. The 11 time winner of the NSSA National Sports Writer of the Year Award has been considered as the preeminent sportswriter in America throughout his career.
