Stella Metsovas

Stella Mestovas is a former National USA Swimmer. Mestovas’ swimming career did not fully begin until she was 13 years old. Mestovas would train under the top Olympic coaches and swimmers of the U.S. swim team. Mestovas competed at the Junior Olympic and National levels. Mestovas was diagnosed as severely anemic which affected her performance and worsened overtime. She spent one year that was filled with prescriptions for artificial hormones and multiple doctor evaluations. Mestovas’ mother took Mestovas to a naturopathic physician who changed her diet. After a month on her new diet, Mestovas felt better. She attended Chapman University where she realized that her true passion was not swimming, but instead it was nutritional sciences. Upon graduating from Chapman, Mestovas opened her own private practice in California. Mestovas is currently a globally recognized clinical nutritionist and media health expert. Her most recent studies are geared to understand the correlation between epigenetic factors, food and lifestyle among the rural villages in the Mediterranean.
