About Stan Parrish
Stan Parrish is a former football coach and player. Parrish attended Heidelberg College where he was a defensive back for their football team from 1965-68. Upon graduating from Heidelberg, Parrish received his first coaching job at Windham High School as their assistant coach before he was promoted to their head coach. In 1975, Parrish served as a graduate assistant at Purdue University. After Purdue, Parrish became the assistant coach at Wabash for one season before he was their head coach from 1978-82. Parrish spent 1983 back at Purdue, but this time he served as an assistant coach. Parrish also coached at Marshall University, Kansas State, Rutgers, Michigan, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ball State, Siena Heights and Eastern Michigan. Parrish only coached one professional team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While with the Bucs, Parrish served as the quarterback’s coach during 2002 when the won Super Bowl XXXVII. He also served as the assistant coach at Michigan when they won the 1997 National Championship.
