Shoni Schimmel Speaker and Booking Agent Information

Shoni Schimmel is a professional point guard for the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. While in high school Schimmel played point guard and first received notoriety while playing at Hermiston High School. She transferred to Franklin High School to increase her chances of being recruited to a Division I school to play basketball. As a senior, she was named a first-team All-American. Schimmel was also selected to the 2010 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association High School Coaches’ All-American Team where she played in the 2010 WBCA High School All-American Game and scored six points. Schimmel attended the University of Louisville where he was a four-year starter from 2010-2014. During her junior year, Schimmel helped lead the team to the championship game of the 2013 Tournament. She was selected to be a member of the USA team for the 2013 World University Games. The USA team brought home the gold medal and won the World University games Championship. On April 14, 2014, the Atlanta Dream selected Schimmel as the 8th overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft. During the 2014 WNBA All-Star Game, Schimmel earned the recognition as 2014 WNBA All-Star Game MVP.
