About Sam Coffey
Sam Coffey is a standout for the U.S. women's national soccer team. Coffey got her senior call-up in 2022 and was selected to the Olympic squad for 2024.
On the club side, Coffey features for the Portland Thorns where she won the NSWL Championship as a rookie in 2022. She was also named to the league's Best XI in 2022 and 2023.
Coffey was originally selected by the Thorns in the second round of the 2021 NWSL Draft. She had played collegiately at Boston College and Penn State, earning Midfielder of the Year honors in both the ACC and the Big Ten.
