About Ryan Newman
Ryan Newman is one of the most successful drivers going in NASCAR. Newman has won 17 times in his 16 year Sprint Cup career. In 2008, he won the Daytona 500. His best season finish on the circuit was second in 2014. Newman won eight races in 2003 and picked up Driver of the Year honors. A year prior, he was named Rookie of the Year for NASCAR’s top circuit. He originally started racing for Roger Penske in 2000. Newman’s early career growing up in racing has been honored by induction into the Quarter Midget Hall of Fame. His influence has been extended off the track through The Ryan Newman Foundation. Newman’s charity is meant to encourage pet adoption, foster a spirit of conservation among youth, and contribute to the Rich Vogler scholarship program.
