About Ryan Braun
Ryan Braun is a retired six-time All-Star for the Milwaukee Brewers. Braun made his professional debut in 2007 and played for the club his entire time in Major League Baseball. His baseball prowess was recognized early on as evidenced by being named the #6 prospect in the country coming out of high school. After attending prep school and turning down numerous other offers, Braun settled on the University of Miami. He was named the National Freshman of the Year and also earned a spot as one of the finalists for the most prestigious individual award in college baseball, the Golden Spikes Award. During his big league career, Braun earned the title of the National League Rookie of the Year, NL Most Valuable Player and was a five-time recipient of the Silver Slugger Award.
