About Ryan Anderson
Ryan Anderson had a tremendous NBA career and was respected for his abilities as a scorer and to make shots behind the three-point line. He was born and raised in California and starred on his high school basketball team in El Dorado Hills. Anderson later led the Pac-10 in scoring with 21.1 points per game in his final season at the University of California. He was then selected in the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets. After two seasons with the Nets, he was traded to the Orlando Magic, where he blossomed as the 2012 NBA Most Improved Player award winner. Anderson was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans the following offseason and continued to impress. After four years in NOLA, he finished his career with stints for the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.
