About Rod Pampling
In 1994, Rod Pampling began his professional golfing career on the PGA Tour of Australia where he won the 99 Canon Challenge. He also spent some time on the NGA Hooters Tour before joining the Buy.com Tour (now known as the Web.com Tour) in 2000. After two successful seasons on the Buy.com Tour, Pampling earned is full card for the PGA Tour. Pampling won his first tournament in 2004 at The International and won again in 2006 at Arnold Palmers Bay Hill Invitational. In 1999, he shot at 71 during the first round of the Open Championship which was good enough to lead the field but he has only finished in the Top-5 in once major championship, the 2005 Masters. Pampling lost his card in 2012 by two spots and has spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons cycling between the PGA Tour and the Web.com Tour.
