About Andres Romero
Andres Romero is a professional golfer from Argentina. Romero has 18 professional wins and currently plays on the PGA and European Tour. He has some impressive finishes in major, coming in third at the British Open in 2007 and eighth at the Masters in 2008. His one win on the PGA Tour came during his rookie season in 2008 at the Zurich Classic. Romero’s three top ten finishes that year got him PGA Tour Rookie of the Year honors. In 2007, he finished in top ten on the European Tour Money List. That year he also broke into the Top 100 of the World Golf Rankings for the first time. For a period of time after his PGA win, Romero was the highest ranked golfer from Latin America. Every year, he has the Andres Romero Invitational in his hometown of Tucuman. Romero started playing golf at the age of eight.
