About Robert Damron
Robert Damron is a professional golfer who has made appearances on the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour. Prior to turning pro Robert started his career in golf in college when he attended the University of Central Florida. While there he was a distinguished member of the golf team and became an All-American three times on his way to winning five collegiate events. Damron turned pro in 1994 and became the first alumni from UCF to earn a full-time berth on the PGA Tour. Robert has two professional wins to his credit including his victory in the 2001 Verizon Byron Nelson classic as well as a victory on the Web.com tour. He has also played in and finished in the top 20 of the U.S. Open major tournament. As a result of his success and contributions to the game of golf Damron was inducted into the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame in 2002.
