About Ray Lewis
As one of the most impactful linebackers for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL, Ray Lewis made plays every time he stepped onto the field. After playing college ball at the University of Miami where he earned All-American honors, Ray was ready for the next step, the NFL. He was the 26th pick in the 1996 NFL Draft. In his 17 years as a player in the NFL Ray became known as one of the greatest to ever play the position and earned 13 Pro Bowl Selections and 10 All-Pro nods. Ray racked up 1,336 career tackles, 41.5 quarterback tackles and 17 forced fumbles which made him the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year twice making him only the sixth player to ever win the award multiple times. Ray is also a two time Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl MVP. After playing all 17 years of his career in Baltimore, Ray retired after the 2012 season and spent time as as broadcaster for ESPN.
