About Qadry Ismail
Qadry Ismail played in the National Football League for nine seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts from 1993 to 2002. Ismail is a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and played football at Elmer L. Meyers Senior High School, where he earned All-Star and All-American honors in three consecutive seasons. He was also a recipient of the Martin Luther King Youth Leadership Award, which is a testament to his character and leadership ability off the football field. After high school he played his college ball at Syracuse University, where he earned All-American honors in 1991 as a kick-returner and earned All-Big East honors as a wide receiver and kick-returner in 1993. After the 1993 season the Minnesota Vikings selected him in the second round of the NFL Draft. He went on to have a successful pro career and help the Baltimore Ravens to a win in Super Bowl XXXV. Ismail retired in 2002 with 353 receptions for 5,137 yards and 33 touchdowns. Since his retirement he has served as an expert football analyst on Comcast Sports Net and ESPN.
