About Gerry Sandusky
Gerry Sandusky is one of the most respected NFL broadcasters in the country. Sandusky called Baltimore Ravens games on radio and is also the sports director at WBAL-TV. He has been with the station since 1988 after originally beginning his TV career in Miami. In addition to calling Ravens games, Sandusky is also the play-by-play voice for Towson basketball. His familiar catch phrase, "the hay's in the barn," is uttered after every Baltimore victory. Outside of broadcasting, Sandusky owns the communications firm, The Sandusky Group. He is a charitable force throughout the Baltimore community with the Joe Sandusky Fund, which is named after his late brother and runs through the Baltimore Community Foundation in an effort to help financially needy young people. Outside of the region, many people know Sandusky for his powerful 2014 book, "Forgotten Sundays: A Son's Story of Love, Loss and Life from the Sidelines of the NFL."
