Pierre Luc Gagnon

Pierre-Luc Gagnon began skateboarding at the age of eight in 1988 and entered his first competition in 1992 at the age of 12. In 2000 he made a name for himself with silver medal performance at the X-Games a bronze medal finish in the vert competition at the Gravity Games. Since that time he has been one of the most popular and decorated vert riders in the world. In 2002 he returned to the Gravity Games and brought home gold in the Vert Best Trick and another bronze in the vert event. He has since brought won bronze in 2004, silver in 2005 and gold in 2012. On the Dew Tour he has dominated, earning three Gold Medals, a silver and two bronzes from 2005 to 2011. The X-Games however, have been his own personal showcase. From 2000 to 2013 he won two Gold Medals, one silver and a bronze in the Vert Best Trick, six Gold Medals and four silvers in the vert, and two silvers and a bronze in the Big Air competition. Outside of competition he is a popular extreme sports personality, representing such iconic brands as Darkstar skateboards, Osiris footwear, Electric visual, Monster Energy Drink and capix helmets.
