About Pete Lembo
Pete Lembo is the highly successful head football coach at Ball State University. Lembo had led the Cardinals to two bowl games and won at least nine games in both of those seasons. No other Ball State coach has won at least 30 games in their first four seasons. Prior to that, he coached at FCS Elon for five seasons and three times the Phoenix finished in the final top 25. In his first head coaching stop at Lehigh, Lembo never won less than eight games in any season. His first year with the Mountain Hawks, they went 11-1, made the Division I-AA Quarterfinal, and he won the Eddie Robinson Award. Lembo mostly got his start on the small college level and his first position was as a graduate assistant at Albany in 1992. He played college football as an offensive lineman at Georgetown and was a team captain as a senior.
