About Paul Petrino
Paul Petrino is a collegiate football coach, currently serving as head coach at the University of Idaho. Petrino got his start at Carrol College as an assistant coach in 1990, leaving the team one year later to become an assistant at the University of Idaho. After bouncing around between Louisville, Utah State, and Southern Miss, Petrino joined the NFL to serve as an assistant coach under his brother, Bobby, at the Atlanta Falcons. Petrino followed his brother back to the NCAA when he coached at Arkansas, then leaving for Illinois to serve as their offensive coordinator. In 2013, he was named the head coach of the Idaho Vandals, his first head coaching job. Petrino would struggle in his first two seasons with the team, going a combined 2-21. Heading into his third year with the Vandals, Petrino looks to turn the teamaround, and get them back to their winning ways.
