About Paul Molitor
Paul Molitor is a former MLB infielder and current manager of the Minnesota Twins. Molitor started hisplaying career with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1978, playing 125 games, batting .273 with six homeruns.In 1982, Molitor led the Brewers to the World Series, batting .355 in the series. Early in his career,Molitor struggled with elbow injuries, being on and off the DL throughout hisstint with the Brewers. Histime with the Brewers would be phenomenal, making four All-Star games and winning two Silver Sluggerawards. Despite wanting to remain with the team, Molitor signed a free agent contract with the TorontoBlue Jays in 1992,quickly becoming an offensive powerhouse in a stacked Blue Jays lineup. In his firstseason with the team, Molitor hit .322with 22 homeruns and 111 RBI, leading the Blue Jays to theirsecond championship in his first year. In 1995, Molitor would leave to join his hometown MinnesotaTwins, batting over .300 in his final seasons leading up to his retirement in 1998. After retiring, Molitorserved as a bench coach for the Twins until leaving the team in 2001, eventually returning as a basecoach in 2014. At theend of the 2014 season, the Twins named Molitor their new manager, and helooks to return the Twins to their winning ways.
