About Patrik Laine
Patrik Laine is a star for the WInnipegJets. The Jets originally selected him with the second overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. During his first NHL season, Laine was named to the All-Star team. He spent two seasons playing professionally in Finland for Tappara. In 2016, he was given the Jari Kurri Trophy as the top player in the Liigaplayoffs. He finished with 15 points in 18 games as Tappara won the Liigachampionship. Laine made his international debut for Finland in 2014. After scoring 13 points for the Fins in their run to the gold medal at the 2016 World Junior Championships, he scored another 12 points for the silver-medal winning squad at the World Championships. He led all scorers with seven goals and was named tournament MVP.
