About Parks Bonifay
Parks Bonifay is a professional wakeboarder, competing in various events around the world, includingthe X-Games. Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Bonifay rose to national prominence after winning theX-Games in 1995 at just 14 years old. Since turning professional in 1994, Bonifay has won manywakeboarding events, including two Pro Wakeboard Tour titles in 1999 and 2001. Bonifay is also arecurring star on the MTV extreme sports show “Nitro Circus” hosted by Travis Pastrana. His success andhis stardom has led to sponsorships from companies such as Ronix, Fox, Red Bull, and other notoriousextreme sport sponsors. In 1999, Bonifay became the first person to ever land a 1080 on a wakeboard,doing so at a photo shoot for Bill Doster. Bonifay currently resides in Polk County, Florida, and stillcompetes in professional wakeboarding tournaments to this day.
