About Paolo Banchero
Paolo Banchero is a star for the Orlando Magic after being selected with the number one overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. Banchero was one of the top contributors in Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski's final run at Duke. He was productive right off the bat as a true freshman, scoring 22 points in his debut, a win against Kentucky. Even as a junior at O'Dea High School in Seattle, he was Washington's Gatorade Player of the Year and the MaxPreps National Junior of the Year. Banchero's mom, Rhonda, played college basketball at Washington and left as the all-time leading scorer in school history. His father and uncle both played football for the Huskies.
