About Otis Wilson
Otis Wilson is a linebacker who starred for the Chicago Bears. Before entering the pro ranks, he was an All-American linebacker at the University of Louisville. He ranks second in school history with 484 career tackles. The Chicago Bears went on to select Wilson in the first round of the 1980 NFL Draft. He played nine years in the league, eight of them with the Bears. Wilson was a pivotal member of one of the great defenses in football history that won Super Bowl XX. That season, he was named to the Pro Bowl and made his second All-Pro team. Wilson spent one final season with the Los Angeles Rams before retiring in 1989. He currently provides at-risk youth with health and fitness programs through The Otis Wilson Charitable Association. In 2017, Wilson released the book, "If These Walls Could Talk: Chicago Bears."
