About Bobby Hebert
Bobby Hebert played in the USFL with the Michigan Panthers and Oakland Invaders from 1983 to 1985 and then joined the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League from 1985 to 1996. During his time in the United States Football League he became one of the greatest quarterbacks in history, leading the Panthers to a championship in his first season in route to being named the USFL Most Outstanding Quarterback and Player of the Year. During his 11 year NFL career he threw for 21,683 yards and 135 touchdowns while also earning Pro Bowl honors in 1993 while playing for the Falcons. For his contributions to the New Orleans Saints franchise from 1985 to 1992, in which he led them to multiple playoff appearances a, he was inducted into both the Saints Hall of Fame in 199 and Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.
