Mike McCoy Biography

Mike McCoy is one of the best young NFL head coaches for the San Diego Chargers.  McCoy led the Chargers to 9-7 records in each of his first two seasons.  He has coached his entire career in the NFL.  McCoy worked with several different styles as the offensive coordinator.  He achieved great success with quarterbacks ranging from Kyle Orton to Tim Tebow.  Previously, he started his coaching career with nine years in a variety of positions with the Carolina Panthers.  McCoy had a brief professional playing career as a quarterback in the CFL, NFL Europe, and on the Green Bay Packers practice squad.  He played collegiately at Long Beach State and Utah.
