About Mike McCoy
Mike McCoy is the current interim head coach for the Tennessee Titans. McCoy is best known for his tenure as the head coach of the San Diego Chargers. He guided the Chargers to 9-7 records in each of his first two seasons.
McCoy worked with several different styles as the offensive coordinator.He achieved great success with quarterbacks ranging from Kyle Orton to Tim Tebow.
Previously, he began his coaching career with the Carolina Panthers, spending nine years in various positions. McCoy had a brief professional playing career as a quarterback in the CFL, NFL Europe, and on the Green Bay Packers practice squad.He played collegiately at Long Beach State and Utah.
