About Michael Beasley
Michael Beasley is best known for his standout season at Kansas State University where he was one of the most dominant players in the country. He was the NCAA's rebounding leader, Big 12 Player of the Year, and a First-team All-Big 12. That strong campaign led to the Miami Heat selecting Beasley as the 2nd overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.
Beasley was a double-digit scorer in each of his first two seasons with Miami, earning All-Rookie First Team honors in 2009. He then averaged a career-best 19.2 points per game with the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2010-11 season. Beasley spent two seasons with the TWolves and a year with the Phoenix Suns before returning to Miami and helping them reach the NBA Finals in 2014. He subsequently played for several other NBA teams and overseas before joining the Big 3 League in 2022.
