About Masyn Winn
Masyn Winn is an MLB professional shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals. Hailing from Kingwood, Texas, he was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round of the 2020 MLB Draft, signing a $2.1 million bonus as a two-way player, showcasing his skills as both a shortstop and a pitcher. He made his MLB debut on August 18, 2023, becoming the youngest Cardinals starting shortstop since Garry Templeton in 1976. Known for his elite athleticism, plus speed, and exceptional arm strength (including a record-breaking 100.5 mph throw at the 2022 All-Star Futures Game), he’s also recognized for his defensive prowess, leading MLB shortstops with 14 Defensive Runs Saved in 2024. Winn, nicknamed "Blaze" or "Energizer Bunny," is a rising star with ambitions to be an All-Star and win Gold Gloves and Silver Sluggers.
