Martin Prado Biography

Martin Prado currently plays professional baseball for the Miami Marlins. Previously playing for the New York Yankees, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Atlanta Braves, Prado entered the MLB in 2006 and has since obtained 1,075 hits. He was a 2010 All-Star while playing for the Atlanta Braves. Throughout his professional career, Prado has played the majority of his time in left field and at third base. Multi-talented, he also has experience at shortstop, second base, first base and right field. Prado is an exceptional utility player that has benefited the MLB since the day he stepped foot on the Braves’ diamond. As a Venezuelan native born in 1983, he is still young enough to continue impacting all those that he plays alongside and inspire fans everywhere.
