About Mark Trumbo
Mark Trumbo, an avid baseball player in his late twenties, previously played for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and most recently signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Trumbo was born and raised in Anaheim, California, in the early 1990’s and was drafted out of high school in the 2004 MLB Draft. Making his major league debut on September 11, 2010 as a pinch hitter and first baseman for the Angels, Trumbo continued to play for them through the 2013 season. With the Angels, Trumbo was selected for the 2012 Home Run Derby and was also the American League leader in putouts in 2011. He was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks for the 2014 season and due to a stress fracture in his left foot, was placed on the disabled list for a short period of time. Back at it since July of 2014, Trumbo has 109 home runs in the MLB to date, along with 506 hits and a .247 batting average. He is expected to do great things in the league in the years to come.
