About Mark Ladwig
Mark Ladwig was born in Fargo, North Dakota in 1980 and is most famously known for his competitive figure skating partnership with Amanda Evora at the 2010 Winter Olympics. The Evora/Ladwig pair has been going strong since 2002, finishing 12th in their debut at the U.S. Championships and 5th at their first ISU Championship, progressing to their phenomenal 2009-2010 season that led them to be selected to represent the United States in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. At the Olympic Games in Vancouver, Ladwig and Evora earned their personal best scores and became the top U.S. pair at the Olympics. Prior to his partnership with Evora, Ladwig skated with partner Kelsey Sollom in Minnesota and Keri Blakinger while at the University of Delaware Figure Skating Club. Ludwig’s most recent competitive partnership was with partner Lindsay Davis, with whom he won the pewter medal with at the 2013 U.S. Championships before announcing the end of their partnership.
