About Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli is one of the best strikers in the world today. He stars for Liverpool in the English Premier League. Balotelli began his career with Lumezzane, but gained recognition with Internazionale in Serie A. There he became the youngest player in club history to score in the Champions League. In Balotelli’s three seasons with Internazionale, they won Serie A each time and the Champions League in 2009-10. Three seasons with Manchester City followed and he won the prestigious Golden Boy Award in 2010, given to the most promising young player in Europe. Balotelli would win the EPL with Man City the following season. He also spent a pair of seasons with Milan. Balotelli has played for Italy since 2010 and appeared in the 2014 World Cup for his country. He had an interesting upbringing, being of Ghanaian descent but being born in Sicily. Balotelli was placed into foster care at age three and ended up adopting that family as his own. His biological brother, Enoch, is also a professional soccer player.
