Marcus Mariota

Marcus Mariota is a quarterback for the Washington Commanders. Mariota began his pro career as the Tennessee Titans starting quarterback for parts of five seasons. Mariota led the Titans to the playoffs twice, throwing for nearly 16,000 yards and 93 touchdowns.

While in college, Mariota lifted the University of Oregon football program to new heights with his remarkable run.Mariota was the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner and led Oregon to the national championship against Ohio State.

His banner 2014 season also fetched him the Davey O’Brien, Walter Camp, and Maxwell Awards. Mariota threw for 4,121 yards and 40 touchdowns against just three interceptions.As a three-year Oregon starter, he set school records for passing yards, touchdowns, and total offense.

Mariota also set the Pac-12 career and single-season record for total touchdowns.His Rose Bowl MVP performance in the inaugural College Football Playoff that lifted the Ducks into the title game over Florida State will never be forgotten.

Before his remarkable 2014, Mariota was already a two-time All-Pac 12 selection. In his first two seasons, he collected MVP honors at both the Alamo Bowl and Fiesta Bowl. The Honolulu, Hawaii native did not become a starting quarterback until his senior season at St. Louis High School, but quickly vaulted up the list to become one of the nation’s elite recruits.
