About Marc Crawford
Marc Crawford is a long time NHL player and coach. Crawford was the head coach for the Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks, Los Angeles Kings, and Dallas Stars. He won a Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 1996. Overall, Crawford took eight teams to the playoffs. He coached Team Canada at the 1998 Olympics. Currently, he is the coach of the ZSC Lions in the Swiss National League A. Prior to his stint in the NHL, Crawford also led teams in the OHL and AHL. He spent parts of six seasons as a player with the Canucks. In his rookie season, Vancouver made the Stanley Cup Final. Crawford was originally drafted in the fourth round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He is originally from Belleville, Ontario. At times, Crawford has been a hockey analyst for TSN.
