About Logan Mankins
Logan Mankins played ten seasons in the National Football League after being selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft out of Fresno State University. While playing at Fresno State he earned first team All-Western Athletic Conference honors in 2004 after recording a school record 82 knockdown blocks that season. In 2005 he joined the Patriots and played the first eight seasons of his career in New England. During that span he earned six Pro Bowl selections, five NFL All-Pro nods, and led the Patriots to two AFC Championships in 2007 and 2011. In 2010 he earned the Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award, and has since been named to the New England Patriots All-2000’s Team and New England Patriots 50th Anniversary Team. In 2013 he was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he continued to be a solid performer and a veteran leader both on and off the field.
