About Lleyton Hewitt

Lleyton Hewitt is one of the most celebrated athletes from Australia in recent memory. Hewitt dominated the tennis world from a very young age. When he reached number one for the first time at the age of 20 in 2001, he was the youngest singles player to ever top the world rankings. That came following his victory at the 2001 U.S. Open and on the heels of Hewitt triumphing at Wimbledon the following year. Overall, he won 30 singles titles as a pro. Hewitt also got a Grand Slam doubles victory at the 2000 U.S. Open. He was named a Member of the Order of Australia in 2016.
