About Grigor Dimitrov
In 2014 Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Diminitrov reached the semifinals at Wimbleton, resulting in a career high ATP singles ranking of No. 8 in the world. With that ranking and his career earnings of over $4 million he is the most successful Bulgarian tennis player in history. Shortly after turning pro at age 16 in 2007 he won the Boys’ Single titles at the 2008 Wimbledon Championships and 2008 U.S. Open, earning him the No. 1 world junior ranking. In 2013 he landed his first big win over a world No. 1 when he defeated Novak Djokovic in the Madrid Open. Known as one of the best all-around players in the world, his serve averages over 136 mph and his aggressive style makes him one of the most popular players on tour. Off the court Dimitrov is a highly sought after brand ambassador, and at age 23 he has a bright future ahead of him.
