Leon Marchand Biography

Leon Marchand is a standout French swimmer who also competes collegiately at Arizona State. Marchand has set the world record in the long course 400-meter individual medley. He holds national records for France in the 200 m IM, 200 m butterfly and 200 m breaststroke. Marchand first made international waves in the sport when he placed sixth at the 2020 Olympics in the 400 m IM. He has won five NCAA titles at ASU and has five World Championship gold medals.
