About LaMarcus Aldridge
LaMarcus Aldridge was one of the better big men in the NBA during a 15-year career that saw him become a seven-time NBA All-Star. Aldridge attended college at the University of Texas where he spent two years before declaring for the 2006 NBA Draft. The Chicago Bulls drafted Aldridge as the second overall draft pick during the 2006 Draft, but his rights were traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. While in Portland, he made five straight All-Star teams and became a regular 20 points per game scorer. Aldridge also made five All-NBA teams and remained productive after signing as a free agent with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015. During his final year in the league, he was traded to join a superteam with the Brooklyn Nets, but opted for retirement due to an irregular heartbeat.
