About Kyle Seager
Kyle Seager is one of the reasons people are so high on the Seattle Mariners in the years to come. Seager has been a consistent producer at third base for the Mariners and made his first All-Star team in 2014. He finished with 25 homers and 96 RBI and won a Gold Glove for his work at the hot corner. For his great 2014 success, Seager signed a 7-year $100 million contract extension at the end of the season. He originally debuted with the Mariners in 2011. Seattle drafted him out of North Carolina in the third round of the 2009 MLB Draft. Seager hit .353 in his Tar Heels career and was a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award in 2008. The Charlotte native went to Northwest Cabarrus High School in nearby Concord.
