Kyle Korver Biography

Kyle Korver joined the Philadelphia 76ers in 2003 as a 2nd round pick out of Creighton University. During his career at Creighton he earned All-MVC honors in three consecutive years after being named to the MVC All-Newcomer Team in 2000. In 2002 and 2003 he was named the MVC Player of the Year and earned Consensus First Team All-American honors in 2003, which set him up for future success when he joined the 76ers as a rookie. During his first four years in Philadelphia he averaged just over 12 points a game and has gone on to average just under 10 points over the span of his decade long career. In 2007 he was traded to the Utah Jazz and played two seasons with the Chicago Bulls before landing with the Atlanta Hawks in 2013. Thus far he has been a star in Atlanta, being named to his first All-Star team in 2015 and helping the Hawks to three consecutive playoff appearances.
