About Kliff Kingsbury
Kliff Kingsbury is a college football legend. From 1998-2002, he starred at Texas Tech University, throwing for 12,423 yards on 1,229 completions for 95 touchdowns.
By the time his college career ended, he had broken 39 school records, 13 Big 12 Conference records and seven NCAA FBS records. In 2002 he was named the AP National Offensive Player of the Year and was awarded the Sammy Baugh Trophy after completing 479 passes for 5,017 yards and 45 touchdowns.
In 2003, Kingsbury was selected in the 6th round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots and would go on to play for the Patriots, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets from 2003-2005. He also saw time in NFL Europe in 2006 and 2007.
In 2008, Kingsbury returned stateside and became a coach at the University of Houston. In 2012, he was named offensive coordinator at Texas A&M University and became the head coach at his alma mater in 2013.
Kingsbury coached the Red Raiders for six seasons before taking the job with the Arizona Cardinals. He made one playoff appearance in his four seasons with the Cardinals.
