Katelyn Tuohy is an American professional middle- and long-distance runner, celebrated for being a four-time individual NCAA Division I champion and the 2018 Track & Field News High School Girls Athlete of the Year.
During her high school career, Tuohy shattered records, including setting the fastest American girls cross country 5K ever and capturing three Nike National cross country (NXN) championships, showcasing her unprecedented talent early on. Her transition to NC State for college marked a continuation of her dominance in the sport, overcoming injuries to clinch NCAA titles and set new collegiate records in indoor mile and 3000 m events. Turning professional with Adidas in 2023, she forwent her final track season at NC State, embarking on a promising career in professional athletics.
