About Julio Teheran
Julio Teheran is a frontline starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels. He was an All-Star in 2014 and 2016 with the Atlanta Braves. Teheran made six straight Opening Day starts for the Braves beginning in 2014. He earned his first Opening Day nod following his first full big league season where he went 14-8 with a 3.20 ERA. He previously had seen major league action in limited stints with the Braves in 2011 and 2012. Prior to arriving in the bigs, Teheran was considered the top prospect in Atlanta's system by Baseball America. The franchise originally signed him as a international free agent out of Colombia in 2007.
